  • With over 30 years of experience, Dr. James Throssell is a highly respected and trusted dentist in the Perth Hills community. A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Dr. Throssell is committed to offering the latest dental techniques while maintaining a personal approach to patient care. His expertise ranges from root canal treatment to implants, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

    Working Hours: Dr. James is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

    Outside the Clinic: When not caring for patients, James enjoys spending time down south with his family.

  • As part of this husband-and-wife team, Dr. Karen Hughes brings warmth, precision, and a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Since graduating from the University of Western Australia, Dr. Karen has focused on delivering high-quality dental care in a gentle and approachable manner. She has a special interest in muscle relaxants including TMJ pain and helping patients feel at ease during their treatments.

    Working Hours: Dr. Karen is available for appointments on Wednesdays only.

    Outside the Clinic: In addition to her work at Gooseberry Hill Dental Centre, Dr. Karen teaches dental students at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where she shares her expertise and passion for dentistry with the next generation of professionals.
